  • Have any fun plans for the summer?

The only thing that I currently have planned for the summer is two weeks in Canada.....Spending 5 days in Montreal, and the remainder in the Quebec City Area.

I'm hoping to do some last minute stuff, or at least some fun, long weekends away. It might depend on what, if anything, shows up last minute in II.

I have 6 weeks reserved at the beach and One week at Bonnet Creek.
Hoping to squeeze in a 3 day cruise to the Bahamas too.
    Nothing booked yet though.

I have a nice pool in my condo so in the summer it's like being on vacation.
Just hop out the door and down the hall and it's an instant staycation.

A week in Eagle Point in Avon Colorado in June, and then a week at Sheraton Broadway Plantation Myrtle Beach in August.

We've got a week booked in Cancun for June 2014 too (we are stuck to school schedules right now with a 9 and 7 year old, and a wife who's a teacher).

        Nice!

I'd love to reserve 6 straight weeks, too, only in winter....Actually, I'd also like summer weeks, lol, but if I have to choose, I'd choose winter.

Are your 6 weeks at the same location?

Funny, I own a week there, but have never been. My DH might take some friends there this fall for a mini golf vacation. Have you been to SBP before?

I had to put vacation plans on hold this summer because I plan on watching my soon-to-be-born granddaughter. Can't wait!

We will go to southern California for a week. Also going to Denver for a few days. Might go to Utah for a week with extended family. But nothing's actually booked yet.

They're building a new water park here so we will get a pass and spend lots of time there. I think my son will just love it.

Summer heat is brutal in Vegas but luckily we have a nice community pool in our housing development plus there are good city pools and locals get good deals at some casino/hotel pools.

Absolutely nothing yet - but we usually spend a week in New Hampshire and if DH has vacation time he has to burn before July 1st we will do something at the end of June. For me, I like being home in the summer and this will be the first year in our new house - I can't wait to get outside and into all the gardens that we have now.

Right now just a non-timeshare week in Nova Scotia for the annual visit to the MIL's. We also have a couple over-nighters to watch the NASCAR races in MI and will keep looking for some last minute long-weekend stuff. It is difficult because we like to go somewhere warm every year during the winter, and then we really only have one week left which get's split into several short off season stays. It is another 3 years before I think one extra day of vacation comes my way!

After spending almost every weekend in April, May, June and July at my daughter's softball tournaments, we too will be heading to Sheraton Broadway Plantation in August for a well deserved vacation before school starts up again. We are looking forward to it, as we have never visited the SE seaboard area.

We own a 2 bedroom annual there, and visited last summer too. We are in the older plantation section that just completed refurbishment, and it's very nice (even though it's not directly on the beach).

Going to the Oregon coast for my first time. We have extended family near there, so I got a 3 bedroom at Seaside for them to join us for a couple nights.

Other than that, been trying to score a beach week in California.

Actually one beach week is in June in Royal Vista, two weeks are back to back in the same unit in July/Aug at Enchanted Isle
then one week at Ocean Palms and then back to the same resort Enchanted Isle in different units for the last two weeks of August/Sept.
So unfortunately it's not all in the same place but then again I get to try out other resorts so maybe next year I'll book contiguous weeks when I see the bulks hit thanks to you.
