That's great that they can be hand raised and still survive in the wild. The caretaker really looks like a mom looking at her newborn.

Australia is free from rabies fortunately.

Rabies is the only thing keeping me from putting up a bat house. Bats are good for eating all the insects, but if they bring rabies instead, it wouldn't be worth it.
