  • Shipping from Canada to US

Not sure where to post this!

When we were recently in Canada, DS found a tea he really liked. After searching various grocery stores, Amazon, internet, etc, I've come to the conclusion that it isn't sold in the US. Walmart Canada has it, but doesn't ship to the US. Does anyone have any experience shipping something from Canada to US? If so how difficult is it? How pricey?

    Thanks for any help.

Nancy, Happymum should be able to help. I've shipped things in the other direction, U.S. to Canada and found it quite expensive.

Are you trying to find someone to buy the tea and then ship it to the U.S.? Or just to find out how much shipping costs? Here are shipping prices from the Canadian postal service--over at the right.

I live close enough to the border on the Canadian side that I don't have to deal with cross-border shipping but it takes forever and is usually not cheap if you get the store to do it.

I have to ask - what kind of tea is it that's sold in Walmart that he likes so much?

        Thanks

I was wondering too. Is it something English? We were just in Toronto, and we noticed that the stores have U.K. brands as well as U.S. brands.

DS likes Tetley dream chamomile lemon tea, caffeine free. Nothing pricey or fancy. Tetley tea is sold here, but not this particular type as far as I can find. Looked at all local groceries and even Amazon US, but not luck.

Not sure why he likes this better than one's he can buy here. Probably because it's from Canada and he likes Canada stuff.

Yes, not the packs, but he small cans.

                Thanks.

Shipping is $10. I'll see what else we can find, but that is it.

Small cans like this? Or cans that are filled with liquid tea?

Yes, that's it. I would get it there, but they only have 1 can and shipping is more than tea. Thanks Wacky.

Darn, we were just in Toronto in July. We could have gotten you some and brought it back.
