  • Confused on Ocean Palms of the Wyndham Sea Gardens, Pompano Beach, FL

We have holidayed at each of the Wyndham resorts of Pompano Beach, except Sea Gardens.

I now find availability at Wyndham Sea Gardens in their Ocean Palms 2 bedroom deluxe units.

I realize Sea Gardens has units close to the beach, also units across the street from the beach and others at the rear of this resort near the intracoastal.

Have any of you been in Ocean Palms? Just where in Wyndham Sea Gardens is Ocean Palms located?

I have stayed in that building in a 2 bedroom.
They are on the furthest western extreme of the property facing the intracoastal waterway.
The rooms are nice and that building has a secure parking garage and its own pool.
It is about a blocks walk to the ocean side.
You can drive your car to the beach side but parking is limited there.
I will try to post pictures of our room when I get home.

Your reply is much appreciated. I'm sure the stroll will be enjoyed. I'll curious as to availability of elevators from parking area to room level. Wyndham is pretty good about that sort of thing though.

We'll drive down a couple of weeks from now to stay 5 days then go to Holiday to visit Caroll's mom for Thanksgiving.

Don't know yet what we'll do, but we know there's aplenty in that area.

It has a multilevel high rise style parking garage on the first few floors with elevators on all floors.

The older converted motel section of sea gardens west of A1A doesn't have elevators though. And the walk from the Palms building thru the pretty gardens inside the resort has a few steps as you meander thru the ponds and pool areas.

If you walk around on the street then you can avoid the few steps in the garden area.
        Or just drive and park.

Thanks you. We hope to get that view. The sunsets are pretty nice.

            Recommend a couple eateries.

You know I'm a local. I live in Miami so when I go to Pompano I usually just eat at the resort or order Italian delivery.
I do really like a Mexican restaurant and I'm hesitant to recommend it because it's really really really ethnic. LOL
Best sopes though and shrimp cocktail.
If you are adventurous and don't mind a little bit of a drive here's the place.
              It's actually a family run restaurant/supermarket.
I've dined in but it's counter service.
Easier to take it to go.
My Mexican friend turned us onto this place and I am forever grateful.

We have 5 nights at Ocean Palms so will try to find time to ck it out. Appreciate the input.

We have the 22nd thru 25th to locate other accommodations, hopefully up the gulf coast side. Will go to Kissimmee if necessary.
