Staples has a 20% off sale. You can get deals below 28 cents a cup for some of the coffee and teas even less. The Green mountain Pumpkin spice was on sale for $7.59 for a case of 18, minus 20 % it comes down to $6.06 each. If you use fatwallet you get 2.5% cash back and if you buy discounted gift cards right now you can get another 5% off https://www.raise.com/raise-rewards/NTo1NyAtMMTE4ODg= I also found more brands on sale for under $10 like the donut house Coco for under $10 minus the 20% at the store and not on line.

Why K-Cup is so popular here? Can you use them to make espresso?

I believe you can with the newer machines. I doubt I would use it to make expresso since I have a Lavazza Espresso Point.

If I were going to purchase a K cup type machine what one should I get ? My accountant has one of these machines and they made me a cup with Seattle's Best. Would I be able to use a cup for my own grinds ?

I can't really give you a comparison of all the different k-cup makers, but I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. Go with the best deal your budget can afford.

And yes, you can use any of your own grinds with these refillable k-cups below... I recommend buying at least four or five (or six) because they're a lot easier to clean after you leave them dry out for a few days.

If you want a good cheap, easy machine the Keurig K45 about $100 or less if you shop around. If you want their best one the K550 or K560 is great, but the reusable pods will not work with the higher end model 550 and 560 unless you hack it. The k45 might be best for you.

We bought a B40 / K45 elite and 6 reusable filters off ebay last night. My wife uses armereto creamer and I like black as in Seattles Best and occasionally a mocha. What k cups should we get ?

So far, I like Starbucks Pike Place Roast and my wife likes the hazelnut. The thing I really miss is a marby to go along with the coffee.
