Yes, thanks for checking in. Also thankful that our friends who live right there were with us, away.

I had friends who were right there one hour before the explosion. Son and GF were at the Mets Game. DD and husband on Cuttyhunk.

        Scary stuff...

Very scary...Seaside Park is only 20 minutes from me. So glad no one was hurt.

Me and the wife were home but my son we just dropped off with his GF 5 blocks from where it exploded. As soon as my wife got home from the city the news broke, She got a hold of my son right away and they left the show and got a cab right away back home. From what I think the un exploded bomb was right by him.

I was thinking of you all too and this is really scary that your son was so close to the second bomb that could have exploded. I hope that they learn from that darn thing where it originated.

Stay safe and be extra alert.

Chelsea is well known as a gay neighborhood, btw (though it has been getting straightified in the past couple of years).

In addition, 5 bombs were found in Elizabeth, NJ today. Luckily they didn't explode and the suspect is now in custody. He lived in Elizabeth and is allegedly responsible for the bombs at all 3 sires.

                        This is so scary.
A few days ago, here in Miami they caught 3 snipers on a penthouse apartment on a South Beach building.
They were carrying assault weapons and pacing the roof right on Collins Ave and 11th St.
That area is also a heavy "gay" population area but also packed with tourists.

The three guys were apparently muslim. One name Mohammed and the other two
with European sounding names. Miami beach is full of Russian maffia so who knows what this is about.
I live in a high rise neighborhood so the thought of snipers on the balconies is very unnerving to me.
Luckily someone spotted them but it's so easy to do this and go unnoticed.
I'm sure had they not been spotted it would have been mayhem.
We have enough problems with Zika here and now this.

Stay in Business, it is just a question on how long it will take from someone blowing them up. They have to know something is coming there way

That is apparently one of the major stressors the family has been facing - the store used to be open 24/7 but then the town passed an ordinance requiring it to close at 10pm. The family became embroiled in a contentious battle with government and neighbors as a result.
