I heard on the radio that Diana Rigg died today. She got her start in the long running British TV spy drama "The Avengers" (the original Avengers, not the comic book mutant variety in todays movies). In memory, here is the opening and theme song of The Avengers:

I'm a big fan of films with her participation. I still sometimes download from http://www.unlockedpiratebay.com/ I download her movies. Most of all I liked her role in the James Bond movie. In the sixth Bond film, Diana Rigg played the role of Teresa di Vincenzo, the beloved of a superagent. Despite the fact that the role of James Bond in this series of "Bond" was played by the most unsuccessful performer George Lazenby, this film is interesting for its plot – in it agent 007 really falls in love with the daughter of a super-mafia, saves her from the villain Blofeld and even marries in the finale. But according to the law of the genre, Teresa dies immediately after the wedding celebrations, and Bond sobs over her body.
