Cheap Magazines-problem

Does anyone remember the thread about Cheapest Mags? It was in April, they had the $5 magazines.

I ordered from them, never received any of the mags at all. I just tried to find them, they seem to have been taken over by new owners. I found a cached page through google that had a little blurb about the new ownership. It stated that people who bought in April or May may not have had their orders processed correctly. There was an email address to write to that stated they would either get the mags delivered or refund money. I just emailed them.

Did anyone else order from them, or does anyone know anything more?

A number of TUG members have had unresolved issues recently. The thread was titled 'Inexpensive Magazine Subs' in the TUG Lounge forum. It started as a discussion about where to buy magazines less expensively, to excitement about the good buys on the Cheapest Mags site, then to dissatisfaction because order were late and finally to anger and a need to get to the bottom of this apparent 'scam'. A few have been contacted by the 'new owners', but they do not respond to messages and have not identified who they are.

In addition to the posts from irate customers, one has been good enough to provide a way for an inidividual to file a complaint with the Nevada Attorney General's Office. Good Luck ... Noelle

thanks so much. No sooner did I post this, than I found it on TUG. I kept thinking I had seen it here, but I was wrong.

I downloaded the complaint form, and am going to send it.
