    After reading your post, I realized that I used the word for "girlfriend/mistress"...........

    I certainly didn't mean to do that........ My Italian isn't so good, and my Italian "slang" is

    even worse..............


    PS.............

    Actually, I'm not positive what it means. Hopefully it doesn't mean anything worse then that.....

      There once was a Growing up Goomba website forum but it suddenly vanished. Strange thing was that it was mostly women posting there. And no, you couldn't find Hoffa there either.

          If all you are going to do is exchange decorating and cooking tips then I don't think you have the right idea about that forum. That forum should have ladies jokes and Pictures that you will not see anywhere on this site. Gossip to.

            Yep it's Italian for girlfriend or mistress. But for Goomba it is good friend not sure why it is like that.

                    Bigfrank, I was just kidding. We would gossip just as good as you and tell some dirty jokes too but showing pictures, I don't think so.

                      I don't know if there would be any interest in a "Goomma" Club. If there was some interest, and big Frank says it's OK, it could be a good idea.

                      It might be nice having a place to go to discuss things that are not appropriate, or too private for the other forums...........
