To take a little kitten and nurse it back to health, that takes a special kind of person. you are the angel here.

I think only an angel should name the kitten. So here are some angel names.

      Thanks Ken.

I feel a bit more than responsible on this as I did bathe the filthy little thing but it was dry, warm and fed when I put it to bed last night.

I will give him a few more days to hand over his name (if he gets that far) and if he doesn't tell me his name I will choose one from your list.

I am leaning towards Tabbris the angel of self-determination.

      Tabbris
      Angel of of Self Determination
This perfect one presides over free will, self determination,
      choice and alternatives.

Because he chose to come back to us.

        Now that's better

I was dreading looking in at the kitten this morning. I just didn't want to find a lifeless ball of fur.

Well someone was climbing the cage and yelling his fool head off! Good Morning and where's BREAKFAST!

1 1/2 kitten bottles ( about 8 TSP) later and purring on my lap as I type.

I guess the heat in the cage is the answer, as this is the reaction I USUALLY get from my fosterlings. Won't the vet be surprised?

Lawren, can I ask how you use the heating pad safely? I know these little guys need warmth, but I'm nervous about using a heating pad b/c I've heard the kittens and puppies can get burned even if you put it on the lowest setting. Do you put a lot of padding around the pad? How do you do it?

                Lawren,

Everyone here knows that the "angel" name your kitten should have is: Lawren.

I wrap a thick towel around the heat pad. AND I only have it on the back third of the cage so they can move off it if they are too warm.

This is such an inaccurate science but I haven't lost one yet and I'll be darned if I'm losing this one! <I may have to keep him....used goods only 8 lives left ya know><don't tell my DH>

                    Lawren,

The kitten is so cute.....Thank you so much for taking it into your home, and giving it the care and nurture that it needs. That's very good of you, and kitty will never forget your kindness.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.
