  • Is the snow in MO stopping yet??

DH is snowed in in St. Louis. His flight was cancelled and he made a new reservation for tomorrow morning. Do you think his flight will get out? Is the snow letting up at all?? Seems so strange when we were in the 70's today in NJ.

Down here around Branson we are in what they are calling a dry slot, an area on the backside of the low that is not going to get much snow. Not far from here, on the other side of the low, they are calling for 12-16" tonight. That is what is heading for St. Louis if it keeps going the same direction.

Last night we had 4.5" inches of rain an it was 60 degrees when I got up. Now it is in the 20s and we have a layer of ice on everything.

Just heard from him that his flight for tomorrow morning was cancelled and now he is on a flight for tomorrow night. Of course, by tomorrow night, we will be having thunderstorms and high wind, so that doesn't look too good, either...

I live in St. Louis. We have had sleet and freezing rain since about noon today. The sleet should continue until midnight when it will switch to snow. They are predicting between 3 to 6 inches of snow on top of the lovely frozen muck that we already have. It may be a while before people can fly out of here. Would you believe that it was in the upper 60's here yesterday?
Thanks to my sister, we own a leg lamp.

There are two famous docks. This one is ours. Since the picture was taken we have repainted it in Key West colors, so this is the Margaritaville dock.

As they say here, we got a skiff of snow last night. Officially, that is just enough to make the ground white. But there is a sheet of ice underneath it. It's cold, but Mom said I can go out and play in it in a little while.

Once again the county road crew was down sanding and plowing, something that didn't happen prior to us upgrading and turning the road over to the county. I think I hurt my arm--patting myself on the back.
