  • Gifting the Hard to Gift

If you run across any good (internet-based) gifts for the "hard to gift," why not post them here?

I just got a mailer for the Thomas Kinkade Collector's Society. The normal price of their membership is $65., but now you can join for $20. In addition to the membership card, magazine, pin, etc., you also get a 12" by 9" canvas "wrapped" print. Don't know if they are all the same, mine was Lombard St. in San Francisco.

I'm not a huge Kinkade fan, but its a good deal for the money, especially for the "hard to gift."

That's a great idea Fern, thanks. I am a Kinkade fan and used to belong to the collector's society. $20 is a great deal for a membership and a gift like that. I actually did give the prints as gifts when I used to belong. People were thrilled to get it.

My friend is getting my boys the new iPod shuffle that clips on to clothing. They will love it since they can use it while snowboarding (hopefully only on the lifts); they currently take their bigger iPods and it's a pain. 1 gig for $79 is pretty amazing. Still time to order in time for xmas, if order is placed today...

One of our standbys is a gift basket from Zingerman's:

          Not necessarily inexpensive, but high-quality.
