    Strange and Desperate Gifts.

    to make a long story short.

    DH bought a stainless garbage can for the kitchen a couple of years ago. I HATE the damn thing. Always shows marks, the handle always gets caught on the garbage bag and makes it the devil to empty and then the peddle to open the lid broke.

    Every so often DH growls that I promised to get a replacement and never have...

    These stupid things cost anywhere from $80 to $110. I have better things to spend that kind of money on <like MFs and airfare >

    DH is tough to shop for and is one of those "surprise me" types that won't just TELL you what they'd like for Christmas or a birthday.

    So guess what he's getting for Christmas?

    Of course there are things stashed inside that are probably more suitable as gifts.

    Perfect for "Oscar the Grouch".

    I LOVE it! Dh is getting one of those Black & Decker electric scissors they've been advertising. The kind that you use to open impossible packages. Of course you need the scissors to open the package they come in.

      are those the scissors that will cut thru the stiff sealed plastic that I can NEVER get open?

      If your DH doesn't want them I DO!

            Don't think so. And since I don't plan to be cutting through any pennies, it's probably okay.
