If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

JestJoan - any connection to JustJoan?

After recently seeing The Jewel of the Nile (again), I wondered if JestJoan's name could be connected to that of JustJoan in the movie.

                  At any rate, Happy Birthday!

                      Eam

Yes, that's exactly where it originated. I found that there were so very many Justjoans that there was even a online group for the Justjoans. I belonged but I think it fizzled. It had started when one JJ got an email to a different JJ and she started searching for her. I didn't want to be in the mixed up mess and so Jestjoan was born. I do jest a lot........

                        Btw

Today, the 30th, is my not so DD1's 40th birthday. I have not spoken to her since the day before Thanksgiving due to her lying to me about her plans. SURPRISE, she got caught.

She did send flowers but did not bother calling.........I am pretty crushed.

Her birthday present went to the Social Services Emergency Fund in her fair city. It said 40 pies from Stew Leonard's were donated in honor of her birthday. (She had told me she was taking Stew Leonard pies to the supposed Thanksgiving Day dinner she was attending.) She could have had a Roomba or a spa day.........
