I got a new puppy!!, another pug, named her Ms Mater McQueen. IMonkey is doing great with her. She has deceided to be the mother. They are so cute together!! I needed another dog like I needed a hole in the head!! shaggy

Shaggy I'm so jealous!

My daughter looked at me severely a few days after Christmas and said
"I am extremely disappointed with the number of puppies that we received for Christmas" (meaning none).

This was our first Christmas without Blue and it was all I could do not to rush out to the SPCA and find a puppy that needed a home.

But with all our travelling and no kids at home to house-sit, I took the practical course.

That doesn't make me any less jealous however!

"You go girl." Is your new little one shown in any of the photos I saw? There are a couple photos of a little Puglet in those photos.

If we were blessed with the "sitter" you have for your little ones, we would go for it and get another Pug.

Glad to hear "Monkey Dawg" is receptive to the new little puglet. I think my "Simeon" would love to have a permanent playmate (vs just visiting with his playgroup)

Dee Dee, what you saw when I sent you the pics, was Monkey when she was a baby up to now. These are the first of the new puppy

Her name is Mz Mater, or Mater for short. This is from the movie cars. IT's a combinaton of Mater & Lightning McQueen.

I am having so much fun watching them. They play tug of war, and Mater will run around playing keepaway with the toys. It is hilarious. Monkey needed a playmate and she has one. Shaggy

A few years ago, I lost an elderly dog. My other dog had been used to just hanging out because Sheena, the elderly dog slept most of the time. We adopted a stray from the animal shelter. Her picture is my icon. Anyway, she wanted to play all the time and Sam acted so many years younger when Abby came into our lives.

It's nice for a dog to have a playmate. When Sam passed on two years ago, we got another companion, this time for Abby. But Abby doesn't like Oscar most of the time. It's really too bad. But at least they have company when we're at work.
