  • Saturday 2/2 Update on Cat (4M's member)

    From Randy this morning:

She is doing much better. All of the prayers and well wishes had a profound influence on her condition. I read her the postings and it immediately cheered her up and added to her strength of will. Thanks to all. They cancelled the surgery Friday afternoon and are now giving her liquids for meals. We don't know yet when they may move her to soft, solid food. She has not had any solid food since January 14th. If she can eat we are hoping they will let her out of the hospital, because the nature of life there can, in itself, hinder one's recovery or even make one sick. Hopefully she will write the next e-mail in a couple days.

Thanks again to all, especially for the prayers.

    Randy

Cat is without doubt one of the finest persons I have ever had contact with. My prayers, thoughts and love are sent.

Cat came home late yesterday. She is under heavy medication and isn't yet able to post. Her recovery, assuming she continues to make progress, will likely take quite a while. But she is very appreciative of all who offered prayers and messages of support.
