    For Dinner I Had

    Today was Valentine's Day...

    For dinner I had:
    Caesar Salad
    Lobster with Drawn Butter
    Rice
    Coffee

    And after dinner, chocolate dipped fruits, lemon slices, apple slices and grapes (you haven't lived till you've tried chocolate covered red grapes!)

    Best of all, I didn't have to leave home. Jerry cooked! It was yummy.

    Oh, and yesterday he cooked a dish I had to take to our Village Club for a tea party (I usually do this). What? Panettone Bread Pudding with Amaretto Sauce.

    I'm one lucky gal...but then if you know Jerry, you knew that!

          Ok, so tonight I had homemade pasta gravy (spaghetti sauce for those of you who don't understand). Jerry made it yesterday. Son in California sent us six pounds of Saladino Sausage from California...its our favorite, from a family owned company. We now have enough gravy in the freezer for about eight meals.

          Tomorrow I cook...poor guy.

              Sounds very romantic. .....The one thing that makes me extremely jealous is hearing about the husbands that cook dinner for their wifes. My DH can't even boil water. (I'm sure that his ignorance is deliberate.) I dream of coming home to a nicely prepared dinner, and a candle lit table. Heck, I get excited if he fires up the BBQ.

                  Me, too.

                  Tonight it was my turn. I cooked "comfort foods." Ham steak, macaroni and cheese, apple sauce with cinnamon, and a big green salad. Yummy *and * quick and easy, cause it was a mah jong day.
