We were driving home on my birthday yesterday via a scenic route and we had a very nice week in Palm Desert with our friends.

Today, we had several fires and one not far from home (Anaheim Hills) so it was raining white ashes here. The roads, we drove yesterday, were one big parking lot today so we were happy that we drove home on my birthday instead of a day later.

Only March and big fires already. We haven't had enough rain this year. I doubt if we will get much more now.
