Opryland area restaurants

Can anyone give me some suggestions on restaurants in the close area of the Gaylord Opryland Convention Center area. The National Beta Club is hosting a meeting at the Convention Center and we have a group of teenagers going, but we know nothing about restaurants in the area - prefer walking distance. I know that the dining in the hotel/convention center is very $$$. Any suggestions you can pass on are greatly appreciated.

In Opry Mills (Shopping Mall) there is a Rain Forest and The Aquarium (I think that is the name) there plus a few other smaller restaurants.

Apple Barn

The Chicken Salad at the Apple Barn (Opry Mills) is very good! They also have great sandwiches and desserts. Not too pricey.

When we were there last summer we at seafood at an excellent establishment located at the corner of the main road and the entrance to Opryland. I can't remember the name of it but it was located across the street from the Raddison Hotel.

Easy walking distance from Opryland.
