I am not dog person (see my very cute cat above left!) but that is an adorable picture - they look soooooo relaxed.

Spence, sorry about the loss of your pal - these pets sure grow on you.

                Spence,
I'm so sorry you lost your buddy. I still miss my little guy-- it will be 2 years this Easter that he is gone. I think Frank offered me his dog, too, when that happened.

Frank must really want to get rid of his dog

It's tough when you go away 4 weeks in the summer.

Spence, I feel your pain but one good thing is that time will heal this loss eventually and only the good and happy memories will stay. We know as we have lost too many pets already over the years.

What a clever picture who manipulated that, Faust. However, cats know how to relax better than any pet.

Thanks everyone, my Siberian was a cool dog, a real member of the family given to us by my wife's brother who's dog had the litter, the exact same age as our youngest child, she'd (my daughter) not known a home without her (the dog). Her crate is still in the family room. We'll probably not have another dog, for sure not a Siberian. The four cats now rule the roost.
