  • Is it better to be Male, or Female?

They say "It's a man's world" but, I'm not really sure.

I know that men sometimes make more money than woman for the same job. I don't think it's fair, but, thank God they do, because they're usually the ones picking up our tabs for lunch, dinner, and drinks, for starters.

And, who would want to be referred to as "The man of the house" ? Sounds like that title comes with a lot of responsibility. I'd much prefer to be the "Little lady." Somehow, it seems like I've been let off the hook, for all sorts of things.....Good thing, too.

But the biggest advantage by far, is that I get to carry a pocket book. I mean really, where do men put all their stuff ? I just don't think that I could survive a day, without my pocket book.

What do you think? Who has it better, males, or females?
    Angela

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

Hmmm.....not sure "Big lady" ...would sit easily either ...maybe just "the Lady" or as we sometimes say over here " the other half " !

Not having experienced both, I can't really say. I can say that I don't carry a purse (who wants to cart that much stuff, including your husband and kid's junk with you). My husband would NEVER refer to me as The Little Lady and I pay as often as he does.

I work more than he does but he has health problems that can sometimes be troubling, so pretty much a saw off there, I guess.

As for responsibility, we both pretty much share the load, with one or the other spelling off once in a while.

So which one is better? For us, it depends on the day.

I'm not going near this one, except to say that I leave my purse home whenever possible, my back pocket is a fine wallet. I have been known to hook my keys through a beltloop. And I used to clip my cell phone to my belt, but then the guys from Queer Eye ruined it with their "cell phone is not a fashion accessory" bit. I'd bet they'd cringe if they saw my keys through my belt loop

Probably not news but women don't either , though there always will be those who choose to. Good on them...

I would say it's better to be neither. Perhaps some evolved combination of both

                  Hopefully not.

At this moment, it probably good to be in either way in most area of the world. You probably don't want to be woman in say 17 century or before if it is a peaceful time, or if it is wartime and you are very agressive. You may not want to be man say in 3 or more century if the whole society want to adjust to compensate woman too much.

I have to agree with Angela on all counts. NO WAY, NO HOW would I want to be a man! Sydney, I did have 8 months of hyperemesis and was even vomitting on the delivery table! Needless to say that was my one and only child. Labor & delivery were a piece of cake compared to those preceding months I certainly wouldn't wish that nausea on my worst enemy! BTW, the only time I envy men the ability to pee standing up is when I'm out in the woods snowmobiling
