The latest craze for those of us who are living near San Jose, CA is the live webcam images of the falcon family living at the San Jose City Hall.

"n mid-spring 2006, employees working at San Jose City Hall first alerted us to the presence of a pair of peregrine falcons that were regularly observed in the downtown area. The tiercel was clearly an adult in 2006, but the female was still in juvenile plumage. As such this pair did not appear to be nesting in the area at the time.
Jose and Clara's 3 eyases were banded by SCPBRG at 9AM PDT on Friday May 18. 2007. We have 2 females, and 1 male in the nest box! See the Nest Diary for more details."
Watching these falcon babies had become our favorite pastime here in Silly Valley! I hope you get to enjoy watching them too...
