Originally posted by SydneyAngela, it'll be cheaper for you to get the converter or plug adaptor in the U.S. Everything is generally cheaper in the U.S. Plus you can shop around here.
When we brought our laptop, we could plug it in the U.S. and Europe (same voltage as Australia) with no probelms. As mentioned before, most laptops should run on both 110/220v. You don't need individual country markings on the adapters as all European countries use the same voltage.Angela

I collect picture books of all the places we've been, as well as scarves. I found that when I got too much of that stuff I just went to the post office wherever I was, got a big tyvek envelope, stuffed it, and sent it home. I did this in both Paris and Barcelona, and it all got back to me...keeps you from having to schlep it all with you and also from being overweight.

That ain't happening. I'm gonna have to sit on it, to get it closed.Angela

Thanks Frank....I don't want to take a chance that I won't get it in time, form Amazon, so I just printed out a copy for DH, and he's gonna look for it locally. We'll probably pay a little bit more, but better safe, than sorry.Angela
