Perhaps worth looking up as you could be slightly overweight with the complications that could bring.

    Sounds like a great trip.
Exactly what I did, and it was incorrect. The correct conversion is 44 lbs.

When we brought our laptop, we could plug it in the U.S. and Europe (same voltage as Australia) with no probelms. As mentioned before, most laptops should run on both 110/220v. You don't need individual country markings on the adapters as all European countries use the same voltage.
OK....that makes it a little easier. I will pick up some adapters here, and maybe I don't even need an converter. The Marriott's all have hair dryers, and irons. I'm not sure that I would need one for anything else. I was mostly concerned about the computer.

Actually my warning about the accessories was not to take too many heavy accessories, one set for every outfit. Sounds like you'll do fine with what you have planned. Your trip sounds fabulous. I'm so excited for you.

Be sure to leave room in the suitcases, for things you buy along the way. And try not to buy heavy things. I don't know how we always manage to drag more books home, but we do.

I collect picture books of all the places we've been, as well as scarves. I found that when I got too much of that stuff I just went to the post office wherever I was, got a big tyvek envelope, stuffed it, and sent it home. I did this in both Paris and Barcelona, and it all got back to me...keeps you from having to schlep it all with you and also from being overweight.

Actually....I removed my belts, and some other things. I'm just going to take some junk jewelry with me, which doesn't weigh anything.

                I'm excited, too....thanks!

I got mine from Amazon. Under $20 I think mine is very similar to this one below.

Thanks Frank....I don't want to take a chance that I won't get it in time, form Amazon, so I just printed out a copy for DH, and he's gonna look for it locally. We'll probably pay a little bit more, but better safe, than sorry.
