  • Bday present! - NY Yankees / SF Giants - June 24, 2007

My work gave me two tickets to the New York Yankees / San Francisco Giants game for Sunday June 24, 2007 at AT&T Park for my birthday. We will be sitting in Premium Lower Box 106 Row 9. That means we are 9 rows from first base.

The last time the New York Yankees played the San Francisco Giants here in San Francisco was at candle Stick Park in 1962 at the World Series.

I feel very fortunate to have good friends at work.

These tickets are very hard to come by, they sold out fast.

These are the closest seats I could find on the internet

They sure did sell out fast. I was on Ticketmaster at 10:00 am the day they went on sale and all I could pull was standing room only. Lucky you! Enjoy!

                  StressCadet,

Did you buy the tickets, if so what day did you buy them for?
You know you can go sit in the cable car in AT&T Park, we sit in there some times when we have sits in the 300 section when it is cold. The cable car is by the bleachers it’s a good place to watch the game from there.

If your going on Sunday maybe we can meet up.

Great birthday present, Ken! I hope the weather is perfect for you that day. I'll be checking the game on TV so be sure to wave at the cameras so I can spot you in the crowd.

On the date we are going, Sunday, June 24, 2007 its going to be Giants vs. New York 1962 World Series Reunion. Both teams are going to wear their old team’s uniforms from 1962.

Everyone who is still alive who played in that game is being ask to show up to the 1962 World Series Reunion.
This should be a very good game and a good series.

                        Sweet!.

I've only been to Pac Bell (I mean SBC.......no, no, I mean AT&T) Park once. Dh got tickets through his work. We were in the very, very last row, in the shade and froze to death. We did have a nice view of the bay though.

I would have liked that. Unfortunately I did not buy the tickets. We will be in Lake Tahoe that weekend and following week so all is not lost ...unless of course you ask my son the Yankee fan.
