Bets on Spring Break, 2009?

That darn Morritt's bulk banking has me pondering the 2009 Spring break. Easter is on 4/12, but Passover starts on Thursday, 4/9 and ends on Wednesday, 4/15. So if I had to gamble, I pick the week following Easter to travel, and bet on a vacation of 4/9 through 4/17....

Anyone else?

Seems too late to me for most of Texas high schools' and colleges' spring breaks. 2007 SB started 3/10/07; 2008 SB starts 3/15/08; and I imagine 2009 will be in the same week.

The NY public schools grades k thru 12 do there best to schedule our spring break to coincide with both Easter and Passover.

Massachusetts public schools have historically been week 16. College spring break here in the public colleges always has March 17 in the week. I think that is week 11. From what I can remember it has had nothing to do with Easter/Passover in my State.

The NY public schools grades k thru 12 do there best to schedule our spring break to coincide with both Easter and Passover.

And we get off the whole week for President's week, so the later spring break spreads the two out a bit. The private schools in the area, however, do one two week break in mid-March, more like the rest of the country.
