  • Signs of a Timesharing Family

So, we were watching the Travel Channel this afternoon. Several hours were dedicated to the Hawaiian Islands...one of my favorite places. They showed the Grand Wailea Hotel in Maui and of course the fabulous pools.

My son swings around and says,"Hey Mom! Can we exchange there?"

"Uh, yeah son, for about 500.00 a night!"

We usually stay in Marriotts or Westins two bedrooms when we vacation. This past spring break, we did a last minute trip to Las Vegas and we stayed in a hotel room at the Westin. My 6 year old ran into the room and looked around, trying doors....He finally asked me, "Where's the kitchen and the Jacuzzi?"

Our Grandson done about the same thing as your son. Life is good, I sure miss those nights sleeping on the ground in a tent

When our older dd was about 3 or 4 we went to Carmel and stayed in a hotel. When we walked in her questions were:

Q - "Where is my room?"
A - There is just one room.

Q- "Which one is my bed?"
A - You'll be sharing a bed with your sister.

Q- (With a big sigh) "Well, where's the kitchen?"
A - There is no kitchen
