What do you do with your old Prescription Eye Glasses?

I give them to my eye doctor. I don't remember exactly what they do with them, but they are given to some program for reuse.

The Lions collect them for charity. There are boxes in diners around here.

Keep at least one extra pair

I always keep two extra pairs. One stays with my travel bags as a back up in case I break mine on vacation. My husband keeps and old pair to do yard work or other outdoor work so he won't scratch his good glasses.

The others we give to the Lion's Club. Our eye doctor has a drop off for them as does our local library.
