Thanks guys!!!!! I missed you all, too!!!!!

I really did have a great time. There was so much going on, and so much to see, that it was a bit overwhelming. When we got to Italy, our schedule got crazy. I wanted to see as much as I could, so we were getting up as early as 5:30 in the morning, and going to bed at 12 - 1 O'Clock, every night. My DH was getting ready to divorce me, in Rome. LOL, only kidding. I think he might have been a little happier than I was, to be coming home, tho. At one point, he told me that he needed to go back to work, in order to get some rest.

We loved everything, and tried to really enjoy each area, as much as possible. The sites in Rome are not to be believed. I didn't know where to look first. The Vatican was spectacular. There are so many wonderful sites, and monuments in Rome, that you could spend your days just going from to another. I'm pretty sure that we covered it all. The only down side to Rome, is that it's a bit grungy. However, with all the great stuff to see, all else is forgiven.

Florence was provincial, in comparison to Rome. A very pretty city with the best food, we had in Italy.

Pompeii was awesome. It was like walking right through history.....All of Italy had that effect on us.

However, my favorite place in Italy was Capri. It was just beautiful!! The Amalfi coast is really special. Similar to the Coast of Spain, the homes are built into the mountains, facing the ocean. Capri had really nice shops, and restaurants, and their specialty was hand-made-shoes. They get a few extra points for that, in my book.

Belgium was very nice, too. The town of Brugge is like walking into a Charles Dickinson novel. I just loved it!!!

I loved Spain, I loved Italy, and I loved Brugge, in Belgium.

I took lots of pics, and hopefully, will get them all posted, soon.

Yes, other than the Marriott Marbella, we stayed in Marriott Hotels. Very nice, but nothing like having a timeshare. BTW....way more expensive. Especially in Italy. Yikes, that hotel is a fortune. 5-6 euro for a cup of coffee. Internet is 7.50 euro an hour. Breakfast 30 euro per person, etc.

I was so surprised by Brugge. And to think, we almost didn't even visit. I'm so glad that we decided to take the ride. I've uploaded some pictures.

Boy, that was fast. I think my dog forgot me, too. When I call her, she just blankly stairs at me, as if to say...Who the heck are you, and what do you want?
