I do believe it is a mudskipper. I used to see them all the time when I was a kid in florida...they always fascinated me. Check this out

I'm beginning to worry about those reports of pharmaceuticals polluting our waters.

I did a search for "mud skipper" and found this site:

        http://www.bio.ilstu.edu/armstrong/b...ves/mudskipper

Guess Sydney wins the gold cigar (since we were talking about Frank)

        (edited to correct link...I hope)
(edited again...for some reason the when this shows up "mangroves" is not included in the link, so you can type it in when you go to look it up.)

              Your picture was missing something.

“Maybe you shouldn't dress like that.”

“This is a blouse and skirt. I don't know what you're talking about.”

              “You shouldn't wear that body.”

That must be Mrs. BF and BF, Jr. in the background.

Actually, it was my 9yr old son and he's too young to be smoking cigars.

He's a nature & science freak and has never seen a mudskipper in real life but I knew he'd know as his idea of fun is reading encyclopedias.

He immediately recognised it which puts me totally to shame.

You did a great job with the second cigar too! Frank will have a smile on his face when he sees these two pictures of him and may want an avatar made of it.

                            It's pretty simple, actually.

                            1. I copy and paste the picture of the fish as a new image.

                            2. I find another image that has the cigar I want. I then select the cigar out of that image, copy the selection, and paste the selection into the picture of the fish as new layer. At this point I have the picture of the fish as the background, and the cigar laying on top of the fish.

                            3. I drag the cigar over to the fish's mouth, and shrink, rotate, etc. the cigar to get it in the size and orientation I want.

                            4. I go back to the picture of the fish and copy a portion of the picture that has the upper jaw of the fish that needs to lie on top of the cigar.

                            5. I paste that upper jaw selection into a second new layer that is above the cigar. I delete the portions of the lower jaw that came with the selection, so that all that remains on this layer is the upper jaw.

                            6. After doing that the upper layer has just the portion of the upper jaw that needs to go above the cigar. The middle layer has the cigar. The bottom layer has the fish.

                            7. I then merge all of the layers. The layer with the cigar comes down on top of the fish, making the cigar lie on top of the lower jaw. The layer with the upper jaw comes down on top of the cigar, making the cigar disappear under the upper jaw as it goes into the fish's mouth. The overall effect is to make the cigar appear as if it is actually in the fish's mouth.
“Maybe you shouldn't dress like that.”

“This is a blouse and skirt. I don't know what you're talking about.”

                            “You shouldn't wear that body.”

Oh, Sydney, I didn't mean THAT kind of cigar, but a REAL gold one...now I must run out and find one....sometime.

The name of the fish is Mr Butt Fugly. It lives in the ocean but occasionally comes out on all fours so that people can wonder who he really is. Mrs Butt Fugly lives under the rock. She meets Mr Butt Fugly when the moon is full and they do a little dance Mr Butt Fugly celebrates by lighting up a cigar as the picture atests. Under further investigation we find out that Mr Butt Fuglys name is Frank Butt Fugly
