It really was a fantastic trip!!
I am buried in backlog, mail, etc. but will try to post some pics in the next few days if I can get the photo server (or my limited brain) to cooperate. Emmy has a few pics from our lanai at Hanalei Bay she may be able to post for me in the meantime.
I am totally in love with the north shore of Kauai. Sigh.

I thought you'd like it there. It was my favorite side of the island too. Did you check-out Poipu area?

Welcome back, Glitter. I already knew that you had a wonderful trip and you love the Big Island and Kauai even more because you had sent me the pictures.

That was the view from our Lanai at Hanalei Bay Resort. We spent a LOT of time out there And I don't know if you can tell, but the first two photos are of the same rainbow, both sides. I have NEVER seen both ends like that, and it was HUGE. Also never seen a double rainbow (and I think I see a hint of a third in the photo, to the left). What a sight to wake up to, just as we thought we were getting accustomed to the view. Breathtaking, really.

A big thank you to Emmy and Boca and Steve adn Julie for steering me to HBR, it was the most spectacular place we've ever stayed. Worth the rental, and I don't say that lightly.
