Refund check from canceled River Cruise came today!!
Some may remember that we had to cancel our European River Cruise the end of June. Some wanted to know how long it would take to get our refund. They came today!!! 
Yes, 'they'. Gerry & I got individual checks. We only had a claim on the price of the trip. Our DD used her FF miles for our air and Marriott points for hotels.
Timeline...I called early in July to cancel. They sent the papers immediately, but I had to get some records from the two hospitals and get our doctor to sign some papers and that took a little over a week. I sent all the paper work back to Trip Mate on July 17, and they received it July 20. I called them on August 3 and was told the claim was approved (geez with what Gerry went through I hope so!!) and was told the check would be sent 'shortly'. So it took them about 3 1/2 weeks to get the checks to us. Not too bad. And no hassle.
