  • Who's in Phoenix

Caroll feels up to a journey. Isn't that wonderful?

Staying with relatives, but they work during the week.
Plan to hang out at the pool and relax a bunch. We'll go out in evenings.

Anyone wish to touch base? Email this week to arrange connection .

Going out on morning of 30 Aug (Thu), returning 10 Sep (Mon).
We'll drop down to Tucson 2 or 3 days in mid week, but hope to hang in Scotsdale/Phoenix for both weekends.

What are some of your To-Die-For entertainment and eatery places?
I'll be seaching AZ forum, but though I'd ask here first.

I may take the laptop and work on Trip West week four, if Caroll allows it.

OK, I can understand everyone is busy, but

What are some of your To-Do and See favorites from South of Sedona to Tucson?

I've seached the AZ forum, but find nothing.

What about the wineries? Restaurants with a view? Scenic drives?
I see several on-line but what is really worth going to on hot-weather days?

We're in Mexico until Thanksgiving or we'd be available, sorry. Lots to do in Tucson: Karchner (spelling?) Caverns are well worth doing, the Desert Museum is an absolute must do, and Tucson is just a nice place. Check Trip Advisor for restaurant listings in the areas you'll be in.

That's more than I had a minute ago.
        Enjoy in Mexico.

One thing I thought I would have liked to try when we were there last was the Verde Canyon Railroad. On September 7th they have a Grape Train run which means they have wine-tasting as you ride, here's a link.

We had a great meal at the Coyote Grill in Scottsdale.

I'll see if anybody wants to ride to Sedona on the 7th.
And thanks about the Scottsdale tip.

katiemack put much To-Do stuff on the AZ forum, but I was hoping to be fed some local favorite stuff also.
