Not a bag but a full loaf of hot Lard bread. The smell gets to you in the car and you can not help your self, so you say , just 1 small piece. Next thing you know you have to go back to get another loaf because you ate the whole thing.Originally posted by janapur View Post

Been there, done that. Whenever I buy Lard Bread, I buy an extra loaf, to eat on the spot. It never taste as good as when it comes straight from the oven.

2002 when a blue Smugglers float week pulled a prime week 29 at Smugglers.
(n.b. this was pre points and this will never happen again imo)

Three weeks ago in western England. The sky was so very black. I have been in many places that aren't cities or suburbs with ambient light here in the US but have never seen a sky so clear. We even saw a shooting star that night!Originally posted by mshatty

I don't know. Like 30 years ago? Snow angels always seemed really overrated to me. The snow gets down your collar and all up your sleeves and into your boots and then you're cold and wet all day.Originally posted by grest View Post

Not that long ago......Probably 2 years, or so, ago. We were really low on bath mats, and the hotel we were staying at had the really nice large, thick ones. I couldn't help myself, I took it. 
Hey, at least I didn't take the lamp. That was really nice, too.
