    I have totally lost my mind

    Please folks talk me out of this. I don't need and can't afford another horse but.... OMG this little filly has such nice extension and what a kind eye. Even if I put 90 days of training into her I'll more than make my money back just for her color.

    The problem is I probably won't be able to bring myself to sell her.

    OK I'm calling them I'll pick her up Sunday.

            Because now you only need to buy coffee to keep it going! Horses are like timeshares...not so bad upfront, but the maintenance is a killer.

            However--this is a beautiful young horse, Lawren. Here's to many happy years together!

              well she's mine now. I could pick her up tomorrow but the winds are supposed to be howling. Driving a trailer in 40mph winds isn't fun so we will get her Sunday. I'll turn her out over the winter at my friend's place and bring her down here in the spring.

              Just shoot me now. and now I need another job too.

              Why can't I have cheap obsessions like crossword puzzles?

                    Lawren....Congrats!!!! She's a beautiful horse, and you might even be able to make some money on her, assuming you can let her go. For now, just enjoy her!

                      Lawren she is beautiful. Congrats, I am sure you thought a lot about this... and bought her anyway, LOL.
                      And here I thought you had a 'problem' just with timeshares.. I don't think I"ve really scratched the surface have I?

                          I just got off the phone with my friend "D". She's got room for her and is used to dealing with youngsters. So my little girl has a place to lay her head for the winter.

                          Not thrilled about the round trip 3 times a week up to Orange but I did it for 2 years when Merlot was next door to "D"'s place and I'll spend time on manners and ground work and maybe a little trail riding.

                          Oh geeze. another baby. what was I thinking?
