How hard do you think it will be to get these as we get closer to Christmas? Our local Toys 'R Us had about 25 in stock today so I wasn't sure if there was really going to be a shortage this year...I was really tempted to buy a couple and then sell them on ebay!

    Thanks for any input!

I dunno. I don't think I would buy them as investments. I bought one at list back in the summer, and then very soon after that Nintendo announced that they were never going to catch up with demand, not before Xmas anyway. So I looked on eBay and Craigslist, thinking that if they were going for a huge profit, I would maybe sell ours...but the list price is $250 and on eBay they were asking about $320. It just didn't seem like enough of a profit to bother with, considering eBay fees and the hassle of shipping.

Maybe they'll go higher before Xmas, but it doesn't seem like a sure thing to me. Of course you could always buy them and RETURN them if the prices don't zoom up after Black Friday.

I bought one for my son for Christmas. I'm not taking any chances of missing out.

Just to let you know PS3, 80 gig has come down from $599 to $499 in case someone needs one.

You could probably easily sell them for $100 profit each on eBay in December.

Well I just bought one off EBAY last week for $275 so I don't know if the $25 profit is worth it since you still have to pay listing fees. Granted, Wii is in high demand since all my local retailers are out of it but it's still a risk

Just went looking for this thread to say that I wish I had stocked up when I had the chance! I think that one could have made a tidy profit!

How did you do, Sharon? I still see them in stores around here occasionally. Also I've seen some pricey bundles online.
