Can't wait to try this out - on my feet instead of my chest. All I need now is a cough!

      another use for vicks

I'm going to try it next time I get a cough. I have also heard that Vicks will help cure nail fungus.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

Probably doesn't work, according to Snopes. Sorry to rain on everyone's parade.

My stepfather has bad circulation in his feet, and his feet always feel like they are burning. He sleeps with Vicks and socks on, and he swears it makes his feet feel better.

You know they really did not say it does not work.

If anything , if your feets did not stink before they will now.

I hope someone here gives it a try and reports back, one way or the other! Even if it's months and months from now.

My child gets colds and she hates Vick's under her nose (personally, I love that smell!) so if this works, great! I'd want it more to clear up her sinuses/ease breathing than cough relief but hey. stopping coughing is a good thing too.

Oh, and a great RX cough pill is available too...it's a tiny little pill (VERY easy to swallow, no taste at all) that takes about an hour to kick in the first time but then works for several hours. Ok, got the bottle...it's Benzonatate. The pills are so small it's a wonder they contain enough meds to do anything. In fact, we laugh that it's probably sugar water but heck, it works so who cares!
