    Places I have lived.

    1. 4 countries - US, Canada, Mexico, and Venezuela.
    2. California - Murrieta, San Diego, Los Angeles, San Jose, Sunnyvale, Cupertino, Los Gatos, and Livermore.
    3. Florida - Coral Springs and Fort Lauderdale
    4. Arizona - Phoenix
    5. Washington - Seattle and Spokane
    6. Oregon - Beaverton and Tigard ( Portland Area )
    7. Canada - Vancouver, Victoria, Calgary, and Windermere
    8. Mexico - Culiacán, Vera Cruz, Cd. Obregon
    9. Venezuala - Caracas, and Cd. Ojeda

I have traveled extensively with extended stays in many parts of the US.

Our favorite place by far is where we live now in Murrieta, California. We spent 10 years researching where we wanted to retire. We chose Murrieta, bought a new home here and retired in 2002. We love it more and more the longer we are here. My other favorite places are San Diego and the San Francisco Bay area. We live just 60 miles from downtown San Diego and often play tourist there.

One country (USA) . . . three states (Virginia, Wisconsin, Iowa) . . . and nine towns (in VA: McLean, Falls Church, Woodbridge, Stafford, Fredericksburg; in WI: Hales Corners, Muskego, Milwaukee; and in IA: Ames). I should also note that I was born in Washington, DC and lived there as an infant until around age two.

I did live "temporarily" in Cape Coral, Florida for two months (May - June 2000) when my VP position was unexpectedly downsized earlier that year.

If I could live anywhere in the world, I would probably try to make a go out of living in Alaska, either in Anchorage or more likely Fairbanks. That would require not having a hubby who hates the cold and a puppy with no fur!!!
