Across The Universe Day
"The Beatles Go Into Space On Monday! It's true... Yes It Is... it's true!
Monday is officially "Across The Universe Day!" all over the world - and courtesy of the US space agency NASA - across the universe too!
"Across The Universe" is the first song to ever be beamed into Deep Space - and it happens on the exact 40th anniversary of the Beatles recording the song at Abbey Road.
It’s the 50th anniversary of NASA – and the 50th anniversary of key developments in the evolution of the Beatles. It was in February 1958 that George joined John and Paul in what - two years later - became the Beatles. It was also in 1958 that they made their very first recordings."
If you have it, play it at 7PM EST tonight )
