Ken I was going to start a happy Valentines day thread last night because I had a picture that I saved for it but was on the wrong computer. I am now finally on my computer and now

I owned a flower shop for 3 years back in the late 90's. This is a day of a lot of work and little thanks. I would suggested, when ordering flowers, order them from a shop local to where the delivery will be. Skip the big names '1-800 so and so' or the guys with wings on their feet. Everytime a transaction takes place, someone is getting a cut. Order local and get the best flowers for the buck.

Happy Valentines to all.

On this Valentines we went to the place were 45 + years ago I took my wife out to eat before taking her to our high school home coming dance. So I tryed to make it very special Valentines for my sweetheart and wife, Judy.

I surprized her as from a news paper ad I hired a babership quartet from a Club Chorus with a lot of members called the Dairy Statesmen. For only $40 they sang two songs, bought a card with a special message that I had them write, a fresh cut rose in a small vase and bought a few Hersheys Kisses.

One song they seranaded Judy with was "Let me call you Sweethart" and the other I did not know the name of but they were both so pleasing to hear.
This was at about 6:00 PM and the place was full and after they finished singing there was a quite a bit of applause. Evidently 3 other couples hired them on the spot as we herad sing in 3 other areas in the place.

Judy reminded us that last Valentines we were in St Croix and at a place called Diannas? that is like some of the places in New Orleans a gal sang the song "My funny little Valentine" so well that even Old Blueeyes would have loved it. Big Frank knows the place I am talking about. We wil going back to our resort in St Crix from March 14 to March 25.

I am even for some odd reason looking foward to seeing Old Sandcrab there.
