  • Spring Break 2008 - What are your travel plans?

Now that Spring is just around the corner
and while some of us are dreaming of blooming cherry trees
and some of us are lucky to be watching the season getting warmer one wonders ...

Who is going to Arizona and Florida?
Who is going there to watch their favorite baseball teams practice?

What about Hawaii? Mexico? The Carribean?

I am hoping this thread will bloom into a cool Spring Vacation story thread... ... so chime in with your stories!!

        Shopping.

I was going to go to Hawaii, (Maui & Kauai) but my DH had to cancel, due to work.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

My fave resort in Grand Cayman in March and Sanibel in April.

Morritts is the only resort we have managed to return to in all our years of timesharing.

Can't wait, spring break begins my "Travel Season"

We are taking four of our Grandchildren to Panama City Beach, FL for their Spring Break in the middle of March, then the first of April, my wife and daughter are going to Las Vegas with a friend.

I am hauling the wifey and my 9-year old girls to Myrtle Beach. We are going to the Sheraton Broadway Plantation.

I know it won't exactly be beach weather, but it will seem very warm compared to Indiana, and it was about the limit of the driving range for us.

I am the most excited because we are new to timesharing, and this was my first ever exchange! I still don't have any clue what I am doing, but the adventure aspect sure is fun.

Fairfield/Wyndham Ocean Walk at Daytona Beach 3/28-4/4. My cousin & her hubby are joining us. There is a car show at the Speedway the first weekend with over 3,000 classic cars.
Give me a place with 4 S's: Sun, sand, surf, & suds-Dale (from Illinois)

Nowhere. I don't really get Spring Break (no kids).

                    No plans until May.

Spring Break here in VA Beach is 3/24 thru 3/28. Hubby is traveling on a business trip to meet an outsource company in Western VA and suggested we spend a couple days with him (I don't think so 7 & 8 yr old and not much to do in chilly western VA?)
I might head up to the Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg for a couple days and then we'll play on the beach in Sandbridge for a couple days (the weather here is pretty nice already). Maybe we'll shop. Not too late to plan a trip to Boston to visit the family...........

Now that is something my DH would love (3000 classic cars - can it get any better?)

However, we won't be crying because we (DH, me, 2 kids) will spend 9 days with my snowbird parents in Arizona. My sister and her family from Canada will join us too. I can't wait for the family reunion with some fun in the sun! Yeah!

Spring Break - would a weekend in April count?

We will stay home too during our son's Spring break. We had planned to go to Flagstaff during this time but had to cancel it since my vacation time will be used on travel to India during Summer to visit family.

We are planning to spend a weekend in April at WorldMark Southshore (South Lake Tahoe) though
