                It must be nice to be a proud father.

                Whenever I brought home a trophy, or some other accolade, my Dad normally said something like, "That and a quarter will buy a cup of coffee."

                But I can't blame him . . . there were so many!

                            Congratulations and keep the math interest going

                            Congratulations to your son - what an achievement! Keep that math interest going through college - it will pay off! Native english speakers with advanced math training are incredibly scarce in the US.

                            One of my daughters used her math skills and sociology background to teach math special education - a rare combination that puts her in demand in the marketplace. The younger one has a doctorate in biostatistics, there is no limit to what the pharmaceutical firms are willing to do to keep her happy and professionally challenged.
