We lost Taffy, my Avatar

We had to put Taffy to sleep this morning. He had an accident in the house while we were gone to the Rehab Center and he was practically paralyzed and in pain. I had a second opinion too and it was kinder to Taffy to let him go but it was so hard for us.

We both loved him dearly and he was almost 19 years old. We will miss him so much.

I'm so sorry to hear about Taffy, but I know he had a wonderful life with you and Peter. My Chloe will be 19 tomorrow.

So sorry to hear about Taffy. Our first cat lived to 19, the second to 16. Our current kitty, Ulysses is 13 and still acts like a kitten. They thrive on your love.

Taffy was a lucky kitty to have you and Peter to love her all these years.

They find a place in your heart and become a member of the family. It was a sad day when we had to put Blue to sleep as he was struggling to breathe due to cancer. Our current guy is 17 and has been ours for all of those years- not something I look forward to.

I am sorry this happened to you. I recall about 35 years ago. I am hanging out with my friend on his stoop with his dog. His dog did poop on the step then went nuts so bad that he bit his master. My friend said the dog had a seizure and a stroke. The poor little poodle had to be put to sleep. I still remember it as it was today and it was not even my dog. But yet I can not remember the dogs name.
