Generally, people must have a valid Social Security number,
have at least $3,000 in qualified income and not be a dependent
or eligible to be a dependent on someone else's (taxl) return.
Once the tax return is filed, you don't need to do anything else.
The IRS will do the rest. Starting in May, the IRS will begin sending
the economic stimulus payments based on direct deposit or address
information provided.
