Bon Jovie & Mom
What an emotional day but it was great too. Today would have been Mom's 97th bd and I knew I didn't want to work today so had asked off. I started out by planting an azalea that was given to me in Mom's memory. Went over to see Betty ( my neighbor) Found her crying as she was going to have to put Pack down ( her 20 yr old cat) Stayed with her awhile and went home to fix corn beef and cabbage in the pressure pot and then go to a baby shower. Very joyous occasion. Came home, ate supper and deceided Betty & Bill could use some comfort food so took it over there. Left to go see Daughtry & Bon Jovi and got on the wrong road (new interstate opened up -- 
Got in an awful traffic jam and by the time I got to the coliseum along with the rest of the folks it was past 8 so Kelli hopped out of the car and ran to the coliseum leaving me to find a parking space. 
By the time I got there and inside Daughtry (our hometown done good boy) was singin his big hit, Coming Home, and one other song and he was done. Bon Jovi was unbelievable, he still has it after all these years!! I recommend going to see him if he plays near you.
Now, how does my dear Mom fit into this besides her bd? She is the one who treated Kelli & me to this concert!! We looked up and said thanks, MOM!!!
