  • How to keep refund in USA

As you may have heard the Bush Administration said each and every one of us would now get a nice rebate.

If we spend that money at Wal-Mart, all the money will go to China .

If we spend it on gasoline it will all go to the Arabs

If we spend it on fruit and vegetables it will all go to Mexico , Honduras , and Guatemala.

If we purchase a good car it will all go to Japan .

If we purchase useless crap it will all go to Taiwan and none of it will help the American economy.

We need to keep that money here in America , so the only way to keep that money here at home is to buy ...

Got this in an email with a couple suggestions that I won't get into. Not wanting this political, just wondering how everyone thinks the refund money can be kept in America?

Maybe we should ask ex-Gov. Spitzer for ideas -- his money stayed in the good ol' USA!

Go traveling outside the United States and spend it on US products.

          Maybe buy a Lamb?????

Have had thoughts of fencing the back half. With the refund I could put a lamb out there. That would keep the money close to home.

Or does any of you have a vehicle I could bring back to life?

I'm not sure if you would call it a vehicle. An Oldsmobile Delta 88 Brougham mouldering in my drive for the past 15 months. It's all yours.

            Now that's American.

Not bad if it's drivable. What year?

I'd have to look. Mid 80s. Yes drivable but at this point needs immediate battery, tune-up and air in tires. Never an accident and lo-mileage.

I'm going to spend it on massages.

I'm going to be very patriotic.
