  • Ken K

KenK, a moderator here and a good friend to many timeshare owners, passed away last month. He unexpectedly succumbed from a reaction to treatment for an illness he has had for many years.

I talked to his spouse, Barbara, earlier today. She appreciates all of the support and love that those here and over yonder have given Ken over the years.

There is no contact info for now.

    We'll miss you, Ken....

Thank you so much for posting - I believe Frank just heard from Brian as well.

Ken was such a gentleman and so generous with his time to help others - and although I never made it - everyone reported a good time at his annual Jersey Shore gathering in September - he will be missed .

We were both supporters and frequent visitors to Fairway Villas - he knew all the back roads

My condolences to Barbara and family .....

Dave thank you for posting, I just saw my Email from Brian about 30 minutes ago. I saw it posted in the mod area first but Brian had emailed me when he first heard about , I did not have access to my email at the time. I was going to post about here and on Tug as soon as I dried my eyes.
Ken was a friend to all but if you ever met him he was more than that. I spent a week with both Ken and Barbra a few years back when we went to see the world series. Ken took us every where from morning to night. He treated us like family. When ever I needed any information he was there not just for me but for everyone. He will be missed greatly there can not be a replacement for him. Both Tug and Timesharforums and there members have lost one of the best people on these boards. RIP buddy

I never met Ken in person, but we had a great relationship in cyber-space. One of the nicest people out there and he will be missed.

KenK leaving our communities is a huge loss. What a fabulous and giving person. He was so helpful with my South Beach trip 2007 and helped so many others. I am very sorry that I was never able to mesh the NJ shore meetings he ran with my schedule.

My condolences to his family, friends and all of us who knew him if only in cyberspace.

                Dave, thanks for posting here.

I'm so sorry and sad for Barbara and his family. My sincere condolences go out to them and I hope and pray they will find comfort and help at this time.

What a beautiful legacy he left in the hearts of his friends. Who could ask for more?

I met Ken last fall at what we now know was the last of his famous Jersey Shore outings. What a kind, generous person. I remember when I first started posting over at TUG that he gave me very thoughtful advice on exchanging and buying. I will miss his warm presence.

I didn't personally know him at all but he was very helpful when I was asking about FLL. He was also a wealth of knowledge for the FL. boards on tripadvisor. He will be missed.

Ken was such a sweet and kind person. I don't think he ever posted a harsh word. He was extremely generous with his time and knowledge. He truly enjoyed having those TUG get togethers in Avon in Sept. I was lucky enough to attend 4 of them. He and Barbara always made sure that there was plenty to eat and drink and enough chairs for everyone. Ken was an upbeat person with a great sense of humor. I will miss him.

My husband Mike and I were at the last two Jersey Shore functions.
We're both saddened by his passing. He made everyone feel so welcome and was so giving of himself; he'll be missed.
