The local CBS station, WCCO, has announced their cutbacks as part of the CBS cutbacks or layoffs.
We lost a real nice weather guy, Paul Douglas, and one of the anchors for the non prime news shows, John Reger.
Paul Douglas said in his farewell email (he didn't get to say anything on air) that he was not contacted to discuss the salary. I think, IMO, he may have been willing to talk about options.
I understand Paul owned a company that was sold to Garmin, Digital Cyclone.
I have heard other big names have been cut as part of the layoffs. Did you loose anyone at your local station?
