Who sings this song?

I don't know the name of it. I assumed it was Summertime-but ITunes is not helping.

The lyrics are something like...Because it's summer.....summertime is here......because it's summer....the right time of year....
It's maybe 60's or 70's. Slower song with some brass.

I need a new last day of school song..."School's out for Summer" is getting kind of old

I'll be picking my kids up from school, telling them to take off their shoes, handing them their new flip flops, and blaring that from the radio. Two days later we will be in Cancun. Can't wait!!

Alice has a good, but old standard. I can see why the change, although, I still like the thought of it, as does the DW. She is a teacher at a private school and doesn't get out until June something or other.
