  • Hunter Pace #2 4/27/08

Fly home Saturday night and up early to the barn for our second hunter pace. I tell you we are out of shape and came in very slow. That hardly ever happens we are usually too fast!

Thought you'd enjoy a couple of pictures

and mind you that jump was a lot bigger than it looks. about 3 feet. Yes I'm crazy.

    lawren,

    Yes I'm crazy.
    I'd say! You're a wild woman!!!!!! Kudos!!!!!!

I can barely get close enough to a horse to feed them an apple. They're big, and scare me.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

The person behind you in the photo looks like she did not make the jump?
Yes...it looks high to me! WOW!
The problem with real life is that there is no background music.

OMG. No wonder you're not scared to drive on Grand Cayman! It probably looks like child's play after that! Ay yi yi, I think I need a drink.

I have not gone riding in over 15 years. I liked going slow galloping was a bit scary.

I like looking at horses from a healthy distance and saying, "Oh, aren't those horses so pretty?"

I have a very healthy respect for horses and usually keep my distance. Lawren, you are amazing!

Believe me I shy away from the really scarey stuff. There was one jump on the course, 4 feet high, 3 feet wide. It was a sawed out massive tree trunk! This is why there are "go-arounds".

When I'm out there and having fun I don't think of anything else. There isn't room for anything else. Adrenaline high.

and yes my best buddy pulled up in the one photo. That one was nearly chest high on the horses. I gave her lots of flack on that. Such a weeney. If you hit bails of hay they will move. If you look closely Triton has one ear cocked back listening to me laugh as we go over in the 2nd shot and he did take that pretty big. Took 2 years but he is pretty much "point & shoot" now. He LOVES to jump.
